Business Strategy

Celecure performs discovery and pre-clinical development of new generation anticancer drug candidates.  We are looking for acquisition or in-licensing opportunities of novel drug candidates, as well as are doing in-house discovery of new compounds.  Our core competence lies within the pre-clinical studies, with our excellent expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, etc.  

Background

Celecure was established in April 2002 with Estonian private capital.  The founders of Celecure include the leading technology investor-entrepreneur, a leading molecular biology PhD and a leading biochemistry PhD in the Baltic Sea region.  We have received the largest financing in the local industry from Enterprise Estonia's Technology Fund to perform pre-clinical studies of our lead compounds.

Team and Partners

Our team today consists of 15 highly qualified and motivated people, including five PhDs. Our laboratories are located in the Life Science Building of Tallinn University of Technology. Our research partners include all major universities in Estonia (Tallinn University of Technology, University of Tartu) and some companies and universities from other Nordic EU countries.
